Like many Google Maps fans out there, Metroseeq founder Kevin became a big fan when he started working a rotational engineering job for a Fortune 100 company. The rotational aspect of his job gave him the opportunity to live in 4 states in 3 years. With all that moving around, Google Maps helped him explore his new surroundings and neighborhoods.

Between traveling somewhere new and settling down, the most common questions asked were “where can we get something to eat?” and“why should we go there?” 

Answering the "Where" question was not as easy as it could be with Google Maps because results were spread out into many pages.  Kevin thought - one page with all revelant results would be awesome in the locality he is interested in.

The second question of “Why” is often answered when complemented with reviews for those special dining occasions.  However, reviews didn’t help with lunch or quick take-out dinner decisions.  Kevin was more inclined to visit those places on discount mailers or weekly circulars.  But still, he had to map these restaurants first and then determine whether it was convenient to go.

With some research, Kevin found  >99% of these discount mailers ended up in garbage bins around the nation.  He also found very few people used the company's discount card that sometimes let employees save up to $28 on dinner in local restaurants. 

The low usage rate was attributed by inefficiency and extra effort.  In the information age, many are inundated with information and are used to on-demand services.  Kevin thought, why can't coupons, promotions, discounts be on-demand as well?  Why can't we visually find where all the local deals are?

It was then that Kevin started Metroseeq.  A web mapping application that is efficient in coupon delivery and simple in information exchange for our community.  So far in his entrepreneurship journey, he has been blessed with great teams and some really great people who share the same vision to make better and more efficient living.  THANK YOU!
